Like the tail fin of a humpback whale, SCUBAPRO's Twin Jet Fins use a split-hydrofoil shape to deliver more forward motion with less effort. Result: more power with less effort and drag.
All SCUBAPRO split fins employ a truly remarkable propulsion technology that uses an unconventional hydrofoil shape to produce forward motion with considerably less effort than any other conventional blade.
  • This secret lies in the patented design, which allows water to flow between and around each of the twin blades, which flex independently to produce propulsion in much the same manner as a propeller.
  • Blades are also angled to provide symmetrical power on both up and down strokes to achieve seamless propulsion.
  • Patented split-fi n propeller technology - proven to deliver more forward motion with considerably less effort than traditional blades.
  • Drag-reducing vents substantially decrease resistance on both up and down strokes.
  • Extended soleplate acts like a lever to enhance power stroke.
  • Extra-wide foot pocket is ideal for wearing with a dry or semi-dry suit - also very comfortable to wear with standard warm-water boots.
  • Quick-connect swivel buckles. Spring-Heel Straps also available separately.
  • Moulded from a stiff compound to deliver a slightly negative buoyancy.

I got my first set in 2000 and the only reason I had to get a second set was because I lost one on a dive trip (slipped off- diver error)- love these fins (Posted on 8/4/2015)

I received the fins quickly, and already have worn them multiple times. They are light and great for packing, and they made many a snorkel experience great this summer. (Posted on 8/4/2015)

Very high quality fins, appear durable and flexible. Strap wide and secure and easy to adjust. They did not come with the mesh bag as described, however the fins themselves are well designed. (Posted on 8/4/2015)

If you kick from your hips with your legs straight, nothing will propel you like these. If you kick like a frog, you'll be disappointed in them. Every dive instructor I know uses these and my wife loves hers as well. (Posted on 8/4/2015)

love these fins. all the benefits of classic rocket type fins but with the ease of split fins. the buckle is great too for quick release in the surf. the loop is great too making it almost like a spring strap to get on and off (Posted on 8/4/2015)
best split fins ever Review by whistler "From Amazon"

I've used tons of fins over the years, diving, free diving, snorkeling and body surfing. These are the best. I live on the North Coast of California where the currents and conditions can be truly awful sometimes, and I used to use big paddle fins to make headway against the currents and big swells, but my legs were always sore at the end of the day. No more! I use these fins for everything now, I even schlep them over to Hawaii to go snorkeling, even though they are relatively heavy.

The reason I like these so much is that they're made of a synthetic that mimics rubber, so they flex progressively, like a rubber fin- why my previous favorites were the soft flexing Rocket Fins. Plus, the blue, yellow and grey are somewhat buoyant, so they will float (eventually) if you lose them in the surf. I wear a size 10-11 shoe and the large fits great, easy to get on and off. I use them with both 5mm and 3mm tropic booties.

It you're a tech diver you might not like these, split fins don't frog kick or scull very well (although these are better than most splits), but, aside from that, I would recommend these without reservation. They're worth the $! (Posted on 8/4/2015)

Easier to maneuver in the water, although they do add positive buoyancy to your feet. I love these fins for myself so got them for my friend as well. (Posted on 8/4/2015)

I have had many different fins over the years and purchased these twelve years ago. Will never use anything else! If your feet or leg's hurt from diving get these fins, good for snorkeling and diving! (Posted on 8/4/2015)

I have used these a lot off the coast here in Puerto Rico. I am pleased with the quality of the materials and components and their sturdiness. The straps and clips are easy to take on and off. My only critique was that they seem to run a little larger than they say, so if your foot is borderline you may want to consider the smaller pair. (Posted on 8/4/2015)
