History

In May, 1999 Odyssey International, Inc., purchased the Marie-Anda from Blue Lagoon Cruises who is located in Lautoka, Fiji. The Marie-Anda was built in 1978 in Fiji for Blue Lagoon Cruises to be used as a small cruise ship which accommodated 40 passengers for 1-7 day cruises around the Yasawa Islands in Fiji.

On board the Odyssey, Truk’s finest liveaboard vessel, you’ll find amenities consistent with the world’s top liveaboards.

In July, 1999, renovations began on the Marie-Anda transforming her into the breathtaking new Odyssey. The 20 cabins were removed and replaced with 9 very spacious staterooms and a comfortable entertainment lounge. The Odyssey is 132 feet long, with a 24 foot beam and draft of 6 feet, built entirely of steel.

• Seven staterooms (14’ x 8 ’) with either king size or 2 twin beds

• Aluminum 30’s for deco gases

• Large 3-tier camera table
• Two camera rinse tanks
• Battery charging station

Length of trip

Seven (7) nights on board the Odyssey. Saturday to Saturday. Up to 5 dives daily off the mother ship.

Arrival and departure Information

Guests are greeted at the airport by an Odyssey crew member. Transfers to and from the airport are included in the price at the beginning and end of the scheduled charter for those arriving and departing on charter schedule. Boarding time on Saturday begins at 5 PM and continues through the night for later arriving flights.

Number of passengers

The maximum number of passengers the Odyssey will accommodate is 16. There are nine cabins; two single cabins, seven king or twins. All cabins have private head and shower.

Crew

As a rule, the crew members to passenger ratio will be 1:2.
