the housing, lighting system, and all your accessories in one convenient,
dive ready case. Once at your destination, pop open the case and
your complete system is ready to go. No fumbling around

for accessory monitors and lenses.
Light
& Motion offers three travel packages with the Bluefin HC9 and HC7 (now with monitor back!). All
travel packages include a Bluefin housing, two battery pods,
a Multi-Chem fast charger, two light heads,
two batteries, o-ring kits, and a custom travel case. What differentiates
the packages is the type of lighting system you choose.
If you want to bring the Sun underwater, our Bluefin HC9 and HC7 L10-T LED Travel Package is the right choice for you. This package features the Sunray 1000
system, and includes a pair of 9 LED light heads, each emitting a
staggering 1000 lumens of 5500k color-correct, white light. We've also
added Light & Motion's Color Temperature Management System (CTMS),
which allows you to thread external filters into the bezel to customize
the color temperature of the light in a matter of seconds. The Sunray 1000 also
includes memory-free NiMH batteries, underwater pluggable connectors
and a multi-voltage fast charger.
All
Light & Motion light systems feature proprietary peened aluminum
reflectors and clear glass lenses that produce an unobstructed, wide,
flood-patterned beam. There is plenty of bright, yet balanced, fill
light with no hot spots, which is ideal for video lighting.
The
travel case itself features
the hard-shell Pelican 1520 case which meets US airline
size requirements for carry-on luggage.
Inside, the case has custom die-cut protective foam that accommodates
all travel package components and extra space for additional
accessories, o-ring kits, batteries and media.

Weight:
The dry weight of the Bluefin HC7 will vary with configuration. A standard configuration (standard port, no lights, no external monitor) will have a dry weight of 6.35 pounds.
Dive-ready weight including the camera is 7.75 pounds with a buoyancy just slightly negative in water. Fully loaded Pro Travel Package (equipped with Pro Lights and remote monitor) will have a dry weight of 14 pounds and a buoyancy just slightly negative in water.
Dimensions:
Length: Along the Housing base is 8.25 inches (21 cm). Optics will extend this a bit.
Height: Housing (no lights) is 5.75 inches (14.6 cm). Batteries will increase this to about 7.0 inches (27.3 cm). An external, top mounted monitor will increase this.
Width: Outside of the control handles is 11 inches (17.8 cm).
